To get ahead in the workplace, you have to be seen - this is a fact. Being visible at work allows employees to demonstrate their skills, land prominent assignments, and build strategic relationships. For women it can be complicated ; some choose to be intentionally invisible to avoid some backlash. Organizations can take some steps to make it easier for women to be seen and promoted.
